US Patent No. 11,185,483 B2 (Amanda Jo Copeland, Venkatesan Padyachi, James Bingham, Nick Ciavarella, Kayla Elise Ivey, Carey Jaros. Daniel Willis. Jessica Rae Tittl. Srini Venkatesh); Gojo Industries patented a non-antimicrobial cleansing composition that contains one or more C1-C8 alcohols; at least one primary surfactant comprising an anionic surfactant; at least one secondary surfactant, wherein at least one secondary surfactant comprises a zwitterionic surfactant, the concentrations being based on the total weight of the non-antimicrobial cleansing composition; a pH adjusting agent; and water. The composition is a non-antimicrobial cleansing composition and does not achieve a microbial kill level greater than 2.0 log. The composition is devoid of surfactants comprising sulfate salts with amine-containing counter ions, and contains less than 10 wt.% of total surfactants.
